Are you looking to make some extra money? It’s no get rich scheme, but Fiverr gigs could put some extra cash in the bank. Whether you’re good at making infographics or talking on a podcast, there’s something for everyone here. Let’s take a look!
1. Web Development
A web developer receives a list of what the customer wants on their website and brings it to life (you should know how to use code for this). If you’re not sure how to do coding for a website and it’s something you want to learn, check out FreeCodeCamp and get started for free!
Web development is a highly sought after talent. I have no idea how to code, and honestly don’t have an interest in it, so the professional sites you see were paid for. And, they weren’t cheap!
As a web developer, you might develop sites on WordPress, Shopify, Teachable, Squarespace, Webflow, Joomla, or another platform. It’s a good idea to get started by getting to know one of those platforms and becoming an expert in it before branching out to another platform.
Depending on what kind of website you’re developing, you can charge anywhere between $100-$500 as a beginner developer, but that is on the very low end of the price range.
A more experienced web developer can ask for rates in the thousands for each site they created, even on Fiverr, because developing a good website takes significant time, effort, and skill. To give you an idea, Drake Dog Cancer Foundation (www.dogcancerfoundation.org) cost a couple thousand to get up and running!

2. Translate Professionally
Similar to other platforms, there are tons of people searching for translation services. If you know more than one language, this can be an easy way to make some bucks. Add a translation gig to Fiverr for a regular stream of income.
Clients could range from businesses to individuals wanting documents, videos, or transcripts translated into another language.
3. Graphic Design
Graphic design is a solid side gig. There are always people and businesses searching for graphic design. And you don’t need a degree to be good.
Take a look on Fiverr at the graphic design section. You’ll see all kinds of gigs. My most prominent gig I pay for is infographics. I know how to do them, but unlike a professional in graphic design, they take me a lot of time. That’s why I like to pay a professional if I have a special need for one.
4. Become a Virtual Assistant
A virtual assistant is an online assistant that usually helps with customer service, data entry, scheduling, setting appointments, and answering e-mails. They may also do some cold calling to encourage customers to visit the business or answer calls coming in.
Some businesses hire virtual assistants to complete specific tasks. Others have a long list of assignments for a virtual assistant to do. Determine if you’re interested in working 20 hours per week or if you’re just looking for something to take up a couple extra hours.
If you’re organized and good at customer service, becoming a virtual assistant could be a great way to make a few extra bucks on Fiverr!
5. Video Editing
Here’s another one that my partners and I prefer to hire out. Video editing. It’s complicated for us since we don’t know it, but if you’re well-versed, we’re told it’s a pretty fast way to make money. As a video editor, you would be responsible for sifting through unedited videos, adding special effects, and making them presentable to be released to the public.
This could include:
- Creating Tiktoks
- YouTube thumbnails
- Doing a specialized intro and outro
- Editing vlogs
- Facebook videos
If you know how to get this done, you’ll add a regular revenue stream to your monthly income.
6. Social Media Management
As a social media manager, you would be responsible for creating and posting content on Facebook for a business or professional. You may be required to write and schedule posts, search what’s working and what isn’t, research hashtags, and engaging with social media followers.
Most businesses want a bigger presence on social media, but with more important things going on, it can be hard for them to post regularly. That’s where you come in. If you enjoy being on social media, this could be perfect for you.

7. Marketing
Marketing services range from content creation and social media management to email marketing, lead generation, and sales funnels. If you’re familiar with these terms, you may want to take a look at the gigs on Fiverr.
8. Consultation Services
If you have experience in a particular industry, you could offer your services as a consultant on Fiverr. You may give advice, answer questions, offer feedback, or help a business or professional make decisions.
9. Writing Press Releases
Businesses recognize the value of having a well-written press release. It’s one of their many ways to bring attention to their product or brand. Press releases, if they’re good enough, will get picked up by the media. So, businesses are willing to chuck out some dollars for this service.
10. Transcription
Transcription is the process of turning recordings into written form. It’s a popular Fiverr gig because it doesn’t require special skills or training, and anyone with a computer can do it. All you need is a good set of headphones, a text editor, and a quiet workplace.
As a general guideline, you can can expect to earn around $1 per minute of audio you transcribe, so it’s not a bad gig if you’re looking for something that is relatively easy and doesn’t pay too badly.
11. User Testing
User testing is the process of testing how easy or difficult it is for users to use a particular website or app. As a user tester, you would be responsible for performing specific tasks on a given website or app and providing feedback about your experience.
Usually, this involves recording your screen and turning on your microphone so you can walk through the testing process. As issues or problems arise, voice them out loud and move your mouse around showing the issue. Ask questions that come up for you and give honest feedback on how easy and intuitive the user experience is.
User testing is a great Fiverr gig idea if you’re looking for something that is relatively easy. Expect to earn around $10-$15 per 20-30 minutes of testing you do, depending on the gig.
12. Search Engine Optimization
If you’re familiar with SEO, you know that it’s always changing and it’s not necessarily easy unless it’s your sole task. And because of that, businesses always need quality SEO services to help them rank higher in search engine results and get more traffic to their websites.
As an SEO expert, you could offer various services on Fiverr, including keyword research, link building, and on-page optimization.
